I just want to start off by saying that Tullyglass House Hotel is an amazing venue to photograph a wedding; it has gardens, an amazing feature building and inside there is loads of light filtering down into the conservatory. The day itself was beautiful with the sun beating down until it set, you couldn’t have asked for much better than that.
Hannah & Mark make an amazing couple and were so relaxed throughout the day which made it so easy to photograph them, getting my favourite type of shots – the candid.
We started the day at Ollar hair which is a fantastic place tucked away in the country side of Ballyclare but really does offer everything for the bride. Hair and makeup was professionally covered and then it was off to meet the guys at Glengormley Baptist church, another feature rich building to photograph.
Reception was at the beautiful Tullyglass house hotel which was a joy to work at especially with the amount of light pouring through the conservatory.
During the day I always try and capture the personality and character of the guests and thoroughly enjoy photographing the granny and grandpa’s; people who often have so much character and stories to share. In particular the shot of the three gentlemen standing in a line chatting about the day brought a smile to my face.
