What a brilliantly fun wedding this one was! Michele and Mark were amazing to work with; so laid back and yet always thoughtful towards everyone else, checking everyone was having a good time and of course that all drinks were filled at all times.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect – sun splitting the trees and together with a really chilled atmosphere put everyone in high spirits. It also give us the opportunity to head into a grassy field beside sparrow cottage to get some lovely sunny shots there; one of my favourite places to photography the bride and groom. It’s simple yet right in the middle of nature. Michel’s bouquet was amazing, one of the best I have seen with simple wild flowers working so well together.
What I loved about this wedding was how unconventional it was, no ties, no jimmy choo’s, no hotel reception just a lot of originality and massive personality to make it all come together. The reception took place at Mark’s parent’s house where the back barn was converted into an amazing Tennessee style venue, with lots of tea lights and let’s not forget the bath tub filled with ice and drinks. Mark has a great passion towards cars and bikes so I thought it very fitting when the guys arrived to the church on their bikes and with a quick change were ready to go. The funniest part of the day for me was when the minister brought his Honda Fire blade out and started revving it as hard as he could. I wasn’t the only person who’s jaw hit the floor that day; somewhat unexpected.
