Castle Ward Weddings – a special experience
This is a wedding I have been really looking forward to blog! I knew the day would be mega special as soon as Caroline told me where they had chosen for their venue . Working with such an amazing couple who themselves have an avid interest in photography made the day a pleasure to be part of.
Some times life is awesome and working with my best friend as my second photographer was one of them. Paul was a brilliant help covering the guys getting ready in the morning and providing a showcase of candid photography throughout the day. It is nice to be able to get the chance to photograph the father of the bride getting ready in the morning and catching those little unexpected moments. I don’t think Paul expected the Turkish barber to set the groom’s ear on fire.
The weather was kind and held out for us. I knew if it did rain there would be inspiration abound at Castle Ward and the grounds. The traditional house acted as a regal backdrop for many of the shots with the interior adding a sense of awesome grandeur. Caroline and Graham walked down the isle to the amazingly talented Lisaire string quartet who never disappoint in creativity and professionalism.
